I recently fitted a pair on an R1 they look sweet. They do require a few tweeks to put on but no modifications to bodywork needed for mounting and it its well worth it. Visibility will vary from model to model, but expect 40%-60% visibility compared to the the stock mirrors. So, they are definitely more for show and sleekness then visibility but they do work when you need them.

The only down side is that you will need to run some wires in order to run the amber lights on top as turn signals. These mirrors are real head turners, so go break some necks!

At last this machine has been introduced, there has been a lot of interest from people after seeing the concept version of this machine. It will be going on sale towards the end of November 2007 and if phat naked bikes are your bag then it is set to be one hell of a machine from Suzuki.

They really took their gloves off for this machine, it has aggressive styling and the suspension and engine to match the looks. This machine is going to be the most powerful naked bike on the road with the a detuned new Hayabusa Engine with 180 bhp available for your entertainment.

I was happy for a while that the K1200R was the most powerful naked bike but I knew it was only a matter of time until something more powerful came out… then Suzuki came out shooting with this machine. At 240+kg is is a fatty, which may proove to be it’s undoing. Time will tell I guess.
